DLS5 Low voltage 8E/2 Drawer Operating Mechanism specifically designed for 1/2 unit drawers (e.g., 8E/4, 8E/2) in low voltage MCC switchgear. It provides simple push/pull operation with reliable locking and clear three‑position indication. Optional LED position indicator and electric operation features are available.

- Hand‑pull operation – Easy to operate, no tools required
- Three positions – Disconnect, test, and connect
- 24 mm travel from test to connect position
- Handle height options – H = 69 mm or 82 mm
- Position locking & interlock – Reliable mechanical locking at each position
- LED position indicator (optional) – Yellow (test) / Red (connect) – quick visual status check
- Electric operation option – Equipped with 1NO+1NC auxiliary switch at test and connect positions (both positions have one set)
- Compact design – Suitable for 1/2 unit drawers
Function Description
- Test position – Secondary circuit connected, primary circuit disconnected. LED shows yellow (if equipped). Drawer locked.
- Connect position – Primary and secondary circuits both connected. LED shows red (if equipped). Drawer locked; main switch can be closed.
- Travel – 24 mm from test to connect position ensures smooth transition.
